    Harper Chalice is a British manufacturer of perimeter detection systems, including microphonic fence detection (PIDS), electric fences, infrared barriers, and secure hatch protection. With over 25 years’ experience, it is securing CNI sites across the UK and abroad and has recently joined Vitaprotech group, a major European company in the security market.

    Major specifiers and Government specified users could obtain a reference to Harper Chalice’s products from the Home Office. Normal commercial users can obtain a reference to its specialist electronic perimeter security systems on the Police “Secured by Design” website. Harper Chalice Group’s products and systems are sold, installed and maintained worldwide via a network of specialist Accredited Dealers.

    Mission

    We are looking for our Business Development Manager to support our growth and new challenges!

    Key responsibilities:

    ·       To provide solutions tailored to customers' needs

    ·       To identify new opportunities and develop new prospects

    ·       To retain existing customers

    ·       To organize meetings and visits with customers and prospects

    ·       To write reports and to complete the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool

    ·       To participate in events related to the company's business

    ·       To negotiate service rates and contract terms

    ·       To monitor, manage and develop a portfolio of customers within the assigned perimeter (Mainly UK).

    ·       To liaise with sales, marketing, and technical teams

    ·       To recommend our solutions in tenders and prepare sales proposals

    ·       To actively monitor the industry, market and competitors

     

    Profil

    Qualifications/Skills :

    • Mastery of sales techniques and commercial negotiations, as well as project development techniques

    • Technical knowledge of the products/services offered by the company, the legal framework in which it operates, the sector (competitors) and developments in the sector.

    • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software

    • At least 3 years of previous experience on a similar position

    • Required knowledge of the business sector

    • Hunter’ profile with experience in customer acquisition and end user regulations. 

    • Strong ability to convince, solution and result-oriented

    • High level of customer service, communication and organizational skills

    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

     

    Hours of Work :

    • 37.5 hours per week (9.00am to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday)

    • Hybrid working

    • Travels and possibly with overnight hotel accommodation are required for role, attending sites and meetings

     

    Salary & Benefits :

     

    • From £45.000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
